Kids’ Ministry at Westwood

As Westwood Kids' Ministry, we partner with parents to help kids discover and enjoy the love of Jesus. Our kids (infants through 5th grade) experience safe, age-appropriate environments where they learn about Jesus, worship, and grow in creative and relevant ways.

We would love to see you and your family visit Westwood Kids!

Your First Visit

Here's what to expect when visiting Westwood Kids for the first time:

First, head to kids’ check-in where a volunteer will meet your family. They will check your child into our system, and then lead your child to their age-appropriate room.

Upon checking in for the first time, we will ask for the following personal information (NOTE: We value your privacy and will not share this information with anyone):

  • Parent/guardian name(s)

  • Child's name

  • Child's birthdate

  • Home address

  • Phone number

  • Any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your children

 How Check-In Works

  • You can check-in your child with any available volunteer. After finding your child’s name in the database, you and your child will be given matching name tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you hold on to the matching tag.

  • In the event that we need to contact you during the service, your child's teacher will text the phone number that is printed on their name tag. We ask that you exit the Worship Center immediately and head to your child’s room.

  • After the service is complete, you will return to your child’s room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.

More Than Just Sundays

Our ministry offers more than just Sunday morning experiences for you and your family.

  • We host AWANA programs on Wednesday nights during the school year.

  • Each summer, kids from all over come to Summer Hummer, an amazing week long kids camp, where they will learn the meaning of life while having the time of your life!

  • We have monthly parent resources to help parents disciple their kids at home.
